Tango Cucharita (Spoon)

In this section of the Tango Terms we explore the Cucharita (the Spoon).

First the term redefined:

Cucharita spoon [coo-chah-ree’-tah]

The lifting of the follower’s foot with a gentle scooping motion. Usually led in forward ochos to create a flicking motion of the follower’s leg.
