Tango is sensual and passionate, enabling one to communicate to another through dance and music. For the vast majority of dancers it is not competitive and there are no levels to attain. It’s danced not to an audience, but for oneself and the partner. Anyone, of any age, can learn the posture, the musicality, the steps – but the combination of these is completely improvised, so that no two dances are ever the same.Tango can be learnt quickly, but takes a lifetime to master.
